Monday morning, 11 April 2005 [4:45 p.m.]:
Hey ya, Keith! Well, this morning was interesting, wasn’t it? LOL! (And only you and I know what I’m talking about – LOL!)Just got back from the old house – not much to do now, thank God! I’ll make a trip over there after rush hour this evening to do some cleaning and pack up a few remaining things. I’m going back to work tomorrow so I guess I’ll finish up at the old house on Wednesday. I never really liked it all that much but I’ll miss it for a few reasons, not the least of which is your association with it.
OK, been meaning to type this out for my very own "Crazy One". It’s from an old Apple commercial and I’ve left out only two verses. I think it does a pretty good job of describing you.
"To the crazy ones."
Here’s to the crazy ones.
The misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers,
the round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules,
and they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can
change the world, are the ones who do.
Thank you, my crazy one, for you have truly changed my world. Always yours –
- Susan
